Description:

The Old Stone House is an unassuming testament to the life of a commoner in the 18th century. A quaintly beautiful garden surrounds the house, while inside, simple furnishings and museum artifacts showcase the day-to-day life of Colonial Americans. One of Washington, D.C.'s oldest structures, it lies in the northwest part of the city, inside Rock Creek Park.
